Your AI farming companion

Rova is the AI assistant at the heart of Terrova. The name comes from "cultivar" and "nova," a nod to new growth through intelligent care. Rova is trained on a wide range of agricultural knowledge covering tropical and subtropical farming, common pest and disease management, soil science, irrigation, harvest timing, and post-harvest handling.

Rova speaks your language, literally. The app currently supports 15 languages including Bahasa Indonesia, Hindi, Swahili, and more, so farmers anywhere in the world can get help in the language they think in.

Getting farming advice from Terrova takes less than 30 seconds. Here is how it works from start to finish.

Pick a category

Swipe through the category chips at the top of the chat screen. There are 18 categories covering everything from Pests and Disease to Market Pricing, Seeds, Livestock, and Land Analysis.

Tap a prompt or type your own

Each category shows 8 ready-made questions. Tap one to send it instantly, or type your own question in the text box at the bottom. There are no restrictions on what you ask.

Read Rova's answer

Rova responds within a few seconds with practical, grounded advice. No jargon, no filler. If you need more detail, just ask a follow-up question in the same conversation.

Save and continue later

Conversations are saved automatically. Tap the History button in the top right to see all your past sessions. You can reopen any conversation and continue where you left off.

Switch language anytime

Tap the language flag in the header to switch between 15 supported languages. The app interface and suggested prompts update instantly. Your saved history remains accessible.

Tips for better answers

Be specific about your crop variety and growing region. "Tomatoes in clay soil, dry season" gives Rova much more to work with than just "tomatoes."

Describe what you see in detail. For pest or disease questions, describe the color, shape, and location of symptoms as precisely as you can.

Ask follow-up questions. If the first answer is too general, narrow it down. Try "What dose should I use?" or "Is this safe near a river?"

Start a new conversation for each topic. This keeps your History organized and makes it easy to find advice later when you need it again.

What Rova cannot do

Rova provides general farming guidance based on common agricultural knowledge. It is not a replacement for a certified agronomist or local agricultural extension officer, especially for serious crop disease outbreaks, chemical applications near water sources, or land disputes.

For urgent situations involving significant financial risk, always verify Rova's advice with a qualified local expert before acting.

Privacy Notice

What we collect. Terrova does not collect personal information. All conversations with Rova are stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. We do not have access to your chat history, device identifiers, or location.

Language preference. Your selected language is saved locally on your device. It is not transmitted to any server.

Third-party services. Terrova loads fonts from Google Fonts. This request is made by your browser and is subject to Google's own privacy policy. No other third-party services are loaded.

Cookies. Terrova does not use cookies. Conversation data is stored in localStorage, which stays on your device and is never sent to Terrova or any third party.

Data deletion. To delete all saved conversations, open the History page and tap "Clear all." To clear all app data completely, clear your browser's site data for this domain in your browser settings.

Acceptance. By accessing or using Terrova, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Permitted use. Terrova is provided for personal, non-commercial use to support farming and agricultural decision-making. You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service.

Content accuracy. Terrova strives to provide accurate and helpful agricultural information. However, farming outcomes depend on many local factors outside our control including soil, climate, variety, and timing. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any advice provided by Rova.

No professional relationship. Using Terrova does not create a professional, agronomic, or contractual relationship between you and Terrova. Advice provided by Rova is general guidance only and should not replace consultation with a qualified agronomist or agricultural extension officer.

Intellectual property. All content, design, and software in Terrova are the property of Terrova and its developers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Changes to terms. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is needed. Terrova works instantly in your browser without any sign-up or login. Your conversations are saved locally on your device.

Does Terrova work without internet?

An internet connection is required to get answers from Rova. However, your saved chat history is stored on your device and can be read offline at any time.

Which devices and browsers are supported?

Terrova works on any modern smartphone, tablet, or desktop browser including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. It is optimized for mobile use.

What is Rova and how does it work?

Rova is the AI farming assistant built into Terrova. It draws on a broad base of agricultural knowledge to answer your questions about crops, soil, pests, irrigation, harvest, and more. It is designed to give practical, grounded advice suited to smallholder and family farmers.

How accurate is Rova's advice?

Rova provides general guidance based on widely accepted farming practices. It aims to be accurate and helpful, but farming outcomes depend on many local factors including soil type, climate, variety, and timing. Always test recommendations on a small area before applying them to your whole farm.

Can Rova give advice in my language?

What crops does Rova cover?

Rova covers a wide range of crops including rice, corn, vegetables, fruits, spices, grains, and ornamental plants. There are 18 topic categories with ready-made prompts to get you started quickly on any topic.

Can I ask follow-up questions?

Yes. Rova supports multi-turn conversations. If the first answer is too general, just ask a follow-up in the same chat. For example: "What dose should I use?" or "Is this safe near a water source?"

Privacy and data

Does Terrova collect my data?

No. Terrova does not collect personal information. Your conversations are stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. We do not have access to your chat history, location, or device identifiers.

How do I delete my saved conversations?

Go to the History tab and tap "Clear all" to delete all saved conversations. To remove a single session, tap the X button on that conversation. Data is removed immediately and permanently.

Are my chats shared with anyone?

No. Your conversations stay on your device and are never sent to Terrova or any third party. We do not see what you ask or what Rova replies.

Troubleshooting

Rova is not responding. What should I do?

Check your internet connection and try refreshing the page. If the problem continues, clear your browser cache and reload. Terrova works best on a stable connection.

My saved history has disappeared. Why?

Chat history is stored in your browser's localStorage. It can be cleared if you clear your browser data, switch browsers, use a private or incognito window, or switch to a different device. The data is not backed up to any server.

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

Open an issue on the Terrova GitHub repository. We read all reports and aim to respond within a few days. Community feedback directly shapes what gets built next.
